At ChemPoint, the Regulatory Compliance Analyst oversees and mitigates the company’s risk by managing broad and complex compliance matters with domestic regulations and conformance of supply chain network to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).  This position serves as a primary advisor on regulations and establishes SOPs that span across relevant teams to ensure that regulatory best practices are met throughout the business. 


  • Manages Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure information on ChemPoint products are up to date, organized, and available for reference.
  • Conducts regulatory reviews and interprets SDS and quality specifications in support of existing and new products, including SKU approvals.
  • Audits third party logistics providers for adherence to regulations.
  • Manages escalates areas of concern.
  • Implements corrective action to reduce regulatory non-compliance.
  • Generates, maintains, and reviews relevant ChemPoint branded documentation and ensures it meets regulatory requirements.
  • Creates and manages SOP for regulatory compliance processes.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert to all other teams in matters of conformance to regulations and industry practices within the chemical industry.
  • Advises when regulatory interpretation is in dispute with any partner.
  • Supports Product Information request response process.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.



  • Bachelor’s degree from fully accredited four year institution is required; Engineering, Chemistry, and/or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Visio, or similar process mapping tool.
  • Maintains current and relevant knowledge base of regulations pertinent to ChemPoint’s products and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable corporate, federal, state and local regulatory requirements for product, environmental, and general regulatory compliance. 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; effectively conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication.
  • Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and critical thinking.
