The Talent Acquisition Team at Univar continues to evolve and we need a new member of the team to join our journey.  We need someone who will be able to track all of our current openings, assign roles to the appropriate recruiters, leverage reporting capability within our Applicant Tracking System, and partner with our vendors on daily recruiting operations and initiatives.  This role will spend a significant amount of time providing specialized administrative, data analytics, and marketing support to the Talent Acquisition function.

 

The selected individual will have experience managing multiple deadlines, a strong customer focus, a detail-oriented nature, an analytical mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel while maintaining confidentiality. This person must have interpersonal and corporate savviness in order to work with candidates, internal stakeholders and external vendors of all levels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with internal teams (Talent Acquisition, HR) as well as hiring managers on the administrative tasks associated with recruitment marketing efforts and candidate experience.
  • Assists with job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning.
  • Partners with HRIS team on maintaining and producing standard reporting from all recruiting data inputs. 
  • Provides counsel and guidance to internal teams with hiring and employment data.
  • Sustains key recruiting metrics and reports to ensure that the Talent Acquisition team is meeting the needs of its internal clients, the company's talent agenda, and compliance requirements.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and shares the Talent Acquisition team’s weekly progress on all roles.
  • Updates, analyzes, and shares quarterly recruiting scorecard data to summarize all relevant recruiting metrics by leveraging all available resources, which includes but not limited to the following: time-to-fill, diversity recruiting, source of hire, offer/acceptance ratios, candidate & hiring manager satisfaction, and candidate pipelining. 
  • Partners with Univar’s HR Shared Services team reconciling Talent Acquisition data.
  • Leverages applicant tracking system and other software to track applicants through the selection phase through on-boarding.
  • Ensures appropriate recruiting documents, materials, and collateral are updated, prepared, and in-stock, as well as orders recruiting supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline processes.
  • Follows up on pre-employment reports as necessary.
  • Partners with and builds relationships with current and future recruitment vendors.
  • Runs and analyzes standard reporting to conduct frequent assessment of vendors' performance.
  • Manages the Talent Acquisition team inbox.
  • Assigns requisitions to the Talent Acquisition Team and follows up on requisitions that are in process.
  • Lead onboarding tasks for any new Talent Acquisition team members.
  • Assists with interview scheduling for higher level roles when necessary.
  • Assists in coordinating and participating in recruiting events (Campus, Interview Days, etc).
  • Stays abreast of the latest in technology, marketing, and candidate experience offered in the Talent Acquisition industry. 
  • Demonstrates a sustained high level of professionalism, accomplishment, discretion, and skill.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferbly in HR or a related field. 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook as primary tool for scheduling appointments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience communicating with all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to work with external vendors.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas, instructions and information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Must have interpersonal and corporate savviness in order to work with candidates, internal customers and external vendors of all levels.
  • Attentive-to-detail; uses good judgment discretion, and maintains confidentiality when necessary.
  • Experience supporting a recruiting organization in a large, corporate environment is highly preferred but not required.
  • 3 plus years’ experience as an analyst for a corporate recruiting team and/or executive search firm.
  • Experience optimizing and administering an Applicant Tracking System as well as training and troubleshooting recruiting team users.
  • Experience measuring Talent Acquisition team performance and recruiting resources performance.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise with Successfactors Applicant Tracking System.
  • Above average Microsoft Excel skills (ex:  leverages pivot tables/charts to summarize datasets.
